:: BackgroundEveryone has a sob story, and Sai isn't keen on sharing hers. She was a baby, then a child, and somewhere in the mix she gained weapons skills by her teen years. Honestly not that unusual, considering the world she was born into. Mars isn't such a great planet for those without a plethora of money.During her later teen years, she was unwittingly mixed up with a drug deal by accepting a sizable (to her) sum of money in exchange for delivering a mysterious package. Nobody expected that she was armed or that she'd take so poorly to being the fall girl, and when all was said and done she found her way into the White Tiger crime syndicate with a low rank. She fought tooth and claw to prove her worth and earn respect, all while maintaining a firm obedience to the natural order of hierarchy. It never bothered her that there might be objections should she attempt to raise too far in the ranks, as she was fine settling into the enforcer position. The action called to her, and she really didn't feel like having the neon target on her face that higher ranks often got - at least not anytime soon. When the Red Dragons betrayed the treaty - on the same day it was signed, no less - things changed. Her mentor rose to take the slain Capo's place, and suddenly she was in the running to be groomed as his successor while all Hell broke loose between the two syndicates. The outlook was grim, yet she stuck it out and survived to see the fall of the Red Dragons at the whim of two fools with personal vendettas. As a result, she considers Spike Spiegel a hero in perhaps the most unconventional sense. He was a traitor, but had the good sense to take out a large chunk of the Dragons and their twisted new leader before keeling over; therefore, he has her utmost respect as a(n unintentional) ally to the Tigers. If not for his little row with Vicious, it's entirely likely Sai would have been on the side knocked down to near-nothingness in numbers.
:: PersonalitySaisha has a firmly ingrained respect for hierarchy and authority, but only that which she has adopted (such as the White Tiger syndicate). Anyone who attempts to assert unearned authority over her is likely to be met with firm defiance... and that's on a good day. She's a touch on the abrasive side and isn't afraid to tell it how it is (or how she sees it), but she isn't heartless for the sake of it. In fact, she rather enjoys sharing drinks with the few people she considers friends, isn't afraid to converse with new people, and has a surprisingly moderate temper for someone in her line of work. Just don't pose a threat to her or take sides with an enemy, and she isn't likely to get in your way. Unless the orders come from above, of course.
:: Storylines@underworldangel - Time and space went a little wonky thanks to some meddlesome staff among the Alliance. Now, Saisha has been thrust into the Firefly 'verse... right in the midst of a high-stakes war between the Independents and the Alliance. She has her allies among the Independents and has helped them in battle, but her heart remains firmly in the neutral territory. This isn't her war, and she's only fighting because her life's on the line as well. Or so she believes. As the hits keep coming and time continues to pass, she finds herself viewing certain Independents as not just allies but friends.@6wordstories - Normally introduced as canon 'verse for Cowboy Bebop (if specified at all), but open to pretty much anything. Alternate universe, crossovers, and even pure crack are welcome.
