Xinglong, the Star Dragon
The Basics
Name - Xinglong
Name Translation - Star Dragon (Mandarin)
Class - Drakken light courier, customized
Age - 13 years
Condition - Mostly sound mechanically, shows her age cosmetically
In Depth

(original blueprints, details, and images available here)
Crew Accommodations -Up to six, if someone shacks with the captain.
Captain - two-person room, double bed
Pilot - single-person room
Other/Unclaimed Yet - two-person room, stacked bunks
Passenger Accommodations - Maximum of three, depending on crew... and whether anyone's willing to sleep on the floor or in the cargo hold.
Room Amenities - She's a light courier, not a hotel with wings. Considering that, the furnishings are adequate. Or something like that. Each proper room has a sleeping surface - be it mattress or bunk - of decent comfort, a storage area, some sort of work surface (even if not an average-sized desk), and at least enough room to walk around without smashing face-first into something. Except maybe the wall.
Foodstuffs - There's actually a decent-sized kitchen, thanks to the after-market overhaul. The refrigeration options are still fairly slim, almost bordering on the non-existent side, but the cabinets hold a decent amount of dry and canned goods. Either write your name on it, or it belongs to everybody; and don't you dare let the captain catch you labeling what isn't yours.
Facilities - Take one shower, and you'll either be cured of claustrophobia or discover that you had the fear all along. It's a tiny thing, shower curtain optional (hardly anyone uses it, since the bathroom door locks), and the hot water barely lasts a good twenty minutes. But it's better than what the original Drakken model offered: no shower at all. And because it wouldn't be a real bathroom (or perhaps because the trip would be awkward and miserable) otherwise, there are also a standard-sized toilet and sink with mirrored medicine cabinet.
Storage - Either store it in your room or one of the storage lockers along the cargo hold wall (beneath the catwalk). Spacesuits and a couple of well-hidden guns reside along the shorter walls of the air lock.
Medical - Xinglong doesn't have a proper infirmary, but she - as with any ship belonging to a smart captain - has a supply of basic first aid equipment. This is stored within one cabinet and one drawer in the furthest corner of the kitchen, to keep it far from the mess caused by cooking. In case of an emergency, the (admittedly small-ish) table in the kitchen area can serve as an operating or examining table. The crew has yet to find out what happens when someone needs extensive care or cannot be moved in time for dinner.
Connectivity - Cortex connectivity is available in the cockpit, the captain's room, and the computer room. Within the computer room are three terminals with minimal attempts at creating privacy via layout.
Common Area - It's just a touch cramped, even with the common room's after-market expansion. A table with armless sofas (and one chair at the head) makes up the main sitting area, so that those sitting near the wall have to crawl into place; and, to add to the cramped nature, the table and sofas are technically cut off to shorter length and awkward angles to fit with the wall's natural slope. Some might say it's a fair enough trade-off, however, because the sofa cushions are quite comfortable.
Along the opposite short wall, there's a small television (which barely works) and a collection of books both digital and 'classic'. Maybe even a bible, depending if it has wandered off to someone else's room (or planet). Additional seating includes another standard chair and a worn-out love seat.
Bridge - You'll need to stand behind the pilot and keep your paws off the controls if you want to see into the black. Xinglong doesn't have a bridge, per se, but is instead designed with the pilot in mind. There's a cozy - if not perhaps snug - cockpit with ergonomically-designed control layouts and the steering mechanism of a fighter.
The Crew
Captain - Séamus O'Rourke
Pilot - Jessie Frye
Mechanic - Tyler Mitchell
Business - Aside from the very-rare illegal favor for a close ally, Xinglong's business is completely legit. Her crew may more or less wish the Alliance would disappear from the 'verse, but a decision was made to obey laws for the sake of prosperity and reduced stress.
